Bachelor of Arts degree in Human and Community Services as well as a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC and an Ed.D in Organizational Leadership from 猫咪头条 University. My research focus with my doctoral work involved adult learner’s professional readiness. I am a certified Career Development Facilitator, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), and am certified in the Myers Briggs Type Inventory.  Prior to my faculty role, I was a career counselor where I focused on student professional development. I also worked for several years in enrollment management, overseeing graduate admissions. In my free time, I love working within the community through volunteering.  I serve local families as a Guardian ad Litem Volunteer for District 27B. I also have a small side business (called Artsy Acorn) where I refinish furniture and do hand lettering.

Mr. Craig is 32-year law enforcement veteran.  Retired as an Assistant Chief of Police, with Winston-Salem Police Department Career with the Winston Salem Police Department reflects numerous assignments and accomplishments including Investigations, Patrol, Commander of a Multi-agency state and federal Task Force, member of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) and Narcotics.  The development and implementation of the Repeat Offender and Habitual Felon Units. Served as a member of the North Carolina Governor鈥檚 State Advisory Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention under Governor Michael Easley. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, playing golf, and gardening.

Tim is instructor of criminal justice and homeland security, bringing with him over 40 years of law enforcement experience. He is the retired Chief of Police for the Mint Hill Police Department, serving for over 10 years. Ledford is also a retired Captain of the North Carolina Army National Guard. He received his master鈥檚 degree in sociology from UNC-Greensboro and his Bachelor of Criminal Justice from GWU. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy at Quantico, Va., and a graduate of the Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Ga.听Ledford has served 猫咪头条 for nearly 20 years as an adjunct instructor. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Patricia, and their son, Eddie Foxx, who is the morning DJ for KISS FM in Asheville, N.C.听
