Runnin鈥 Bulldogs Play Top NCAA Programs in 56-Game Schedule with 24 Big South Conference Matchups; First Pitch Celebration will be Feb. 1

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.鈥擳he 猫咪头条 University baseball team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2025 season. In total, the Runnin’ Bulldogs will play 56 games, including a 24-game slate within the Big South Conference. 猫咪头条 opens its season on Friday, Feb. 14 as it hosts St. Bonaventure in a four-game set at John Henry Moss Stadium.

鈥淭he 2025 schedule is one, if not the, most challenging slate in my tenure at 猫咪头条,鈥 said Head Coach Jim Chester. 鈥淲e have 12 games against programs that appeared in 2024 NCAA Regionals. We will be challenged in every way, and that is exactly the way we want it! This group has worked tirelessly for this test, and opening day can’t get here soon enough! Sko Dawgs!”

Fans can meet the players, coaches and support staff at the First Pitch Celebration on Feb. 1. The featured speaker is NFL and NCAA Rules Analyst Gene Steratore. A native of Uniontown, Pa., Steratore is a former NCAA and NFL official with 40 years of experience that includes refereeing Sweet-16 games and a Super Bowl. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and silent auction starting at 6 p.m. The program begins at 7 p.m. For more details and to purchase tickets, click here.
