news-category: Campus News 猫咪头条 Students May Begin Moving Back to Campus Ahead of Wintry Weather By Office of University Communications On January 8, 2025 Move-In for All Students Begins at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9 UPDATE for Friday, Jan. 10: As 猫咪头条 welcomes students back to campus, dinner is being served tonight in the Caf from 5 to 7 p.m. Breakfast Saturday will be in the Caf beginning with a Continental Breakfast at 9 a.m. and Full Service Breakfast starting at 10 a.m. BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.鈥擝ecause of the wintry weather forecast, 猫咪头条 University鈥檚 Office of Student Development has announced changes to the move-in schedule for the spring semester. Students may begin moving back to campus on Thursday, Jan. 9. The 2025 Spring Semester begins on Monday, Jan. 13 for traditional undergraduate students. Vice President of Student Development and Dean of Students Lesley Villarose notes, 鈥淲e are very much looking forward to your arrival back to campus for the spring semester. We are continuing to watch the weather forecast which will potentially impact the Boiling Springs area beginning Friday. We understand that some of you are traveling from areas that may be impacted sooner.鈥 Please see the important information below on how to return to campus for the spring semester: Thursday, Jan. 9, and Friday, Jan. 10 From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., all students will come to the Tucker Student Center with their keys to check-in. We will at that point recheck their room keys and mark them as moved in. Any students that arrive after 5 p.m. will need to call 鈥淗ousing On Call鈥 at 704-300-3161. Saturday, Jan. 11, and Sunday, Jan. 12 All students checking on the weekend must call 鈥淗ousing on Call鈥 at 704-300-3161. Dining Services Please note that Dining Services will be closed on Thursday. The dining hall will be open for dinner on Friday. Questions Please be safe.
